There are 8 sabbats per year, representing the 2 solstices, 2 equinoxes, and 4 cross quarters (midpoint between the solstices & equinoxes).

By celebrating each sabbat through ritual, we recalibrate our energies to align closer to the heartbeat of the Earth and to accept within and without us the changes as the world turns. Our planet home continues to be challenged, sometimes unmercifully, so to practise magick, discipline & devotion, we and the Earth benefit. It is an evolving Craft, steeped in traditional ways but adapting to new situations.
