Abramelin ritual oil - Aleister Crowley formula

Crafted in the traditional manner described in The Book of the Sacred Magic of Abramelin the Mage, this sacred is the classical oil of illumination and consecration. 

Aleister Crowley adapted its formula for his magickal system of Thelema and the Ecclesia Gnostica Catholica, where a similar oil was used in the preparation of the Eucharistic Cake of Light.

In Liber ABA, Crowley describes the Holy Oil as the Oil of Aspiration - the force that consecrates the magician to the Great Work. For Crowley, this oil represents pure light translated into desire, and is essential for any serious ritual or consecratory work.

Used to sanctify tools and awaken the solar current within the magician, it bridges the human and the divine through the alchemy of scent.

Myrrh grounds spirit in matter;
