Ancestral Amulets

An amulet, or phylactery, is an object crafted and enchanted to call forth ancestors during necromancy .

"Amulet" comes from the Latin amuletum, mentioned in Pliny the Elder's Natural History (c77 ce) as "an object that protects a person from trouble".

Bind runes imbue the amulet with strong protection.
