In Celtic mythology, the Ash connects the 3 circles of existence: Abred (past), Gwynedd (present) and Ceugant (future).  Ash is associated with the winter and summer solstices and lit to encourage the Sun. 

RECIPE:  HORNED GOD INCENSE.                                                                                                1 part ash.   1 part patchouli   2 parts frankincense   1 part lavender                                  Few drops of cedar oil
