DIY Charm bags

Charm bags are a form of  practical magick using your own creativity and energies to enchant the bag for specific intentions. 

Firstly, decide on why you are creating the charm bag. For example, for love you may add rose quartz or ruby, rose petals, jasmine, a love sigil or name of your intended.  Stir the herbs anti-clockwise (we are in the Southern Hemisphere!) Clockwise if the bag is intended to reflect, banish or hex.

Take your time and as you blend your magickal ingredients, visualise the outcome you desire. Chanting amplifies the magick. You may want to add all or any of the following according to your intention:

• Amulets/Talismans 
• Crystals/Stones
• Graveyard Dirt
• Sigils
• Drawings
• Petitions
• Flowers
• Herbs, roots or leaves
  
• Personal Notes
• Oils (sparingly)
• Personal objects 
• Salt
• Sigils

These cotton bags (8cm x 9cm) use colour correspondence in the ribbon tie for specific intentions. You may write or sew on the bags; it's up to your creativity!

• Black: - Protection, banishing, easing depression or fear.
• Blue: - Friendship, peace, creativity, independence.
• Brown : Strength, healing, diplomacy., pets
• Gold:  - Wealth, happiness, abundance,
• Green: - Health, abundance, success, good fortune.
• Orange:-  Joy, charisma, creativity.
• Pink: - Love, self-love, romance, friendship.
• Purple: - Focus, insight, intuition.
• Red: - Love, sex, passion, vitality.
  
• White: Calm, peace, calling to those through the Veil

Depending on your intention, you may bury, burn, throw, discard, wear, place in a secret place, gift to another or place on your altar. For sleep, place the bag under your pillow or bed. 

Once the desired outcome is reached, discard the bag mindfully.
